ARTIST STATEMENT

A Fine Art photographer, Fernanda was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and has now been living and working in London for 7 years. Having had her work exhibited in various shows, her photography portrays supposedly mundane subjects in a manner that finds elevated aesthetic status.

As an Editorial photographer, Fernanda has taken commissions for several Brazilian publications such as 'Viagem & Turismo' and 'Brasil Sustentavel' as well as on-line services including the BBC World Service.

Many photographs on this website are available for purchase using Giclee printing media. Both Photo Quality and Fine-Art media are available including Hahnemuhle Photo Rag. Print sizes range from 8x10 up to 24x30 in.

Most of the B&W prints are manually produced using traditional archiving process.

Colour prints are carefully colour-managed during all stages of post-production.

All prints are produced in a limited edition.
